Tasib Mughal

Scout Leader

Over 6 years of experience

Dedicated and passionate about guiding young people, Tasib focuses on encouraging teamwork, and creating a safe, positive environment. He is committed to helping individuals develop confidence, life skills, and a strong sense of responsibility.

We are proud to be the home of our local Scouts group ‘Nottingham 786th’, which offers structured activities that support young people to develop character, resilience and discipline, alongside teamwork and practical life skills. Scouting encourages a strong sense of responsibility and an appreciation of service, while providing opportunities for young people to take on leadership roles, build independence and engage in outdoor experiences and collaborative challenges away from screens.

Through a diverse range of activities, from outdoor expeditions and skills-based learning to group challenges and community projects, young people are encouraged to step outside their comfort zones and grow in confidence. The programme nurtures problem-solving, adaptability and self-reliance, while also reinforcing the importance of working together and supporting others.

As part of our wider youth offer, Scouting plays a key role in helping young people develop a sense of purpose and belonging. It equips them with the mindset and capabilities needed to navigate life’s challenges, while creating memorable experiences that positively shape their personal development.
